Classes at Teton County Recreation Center

All classes operate on 7-week sessions. Students must enroll for the entire session. Registration is through Galliope Creative Movement only, details below.

2 YO

Thursdays, September 11- October 23

9:30 -10:00 am. Teewinot Room

This class is for the 2-year-old and their caregiver. It will introduce children to the BrainDance© warmup and integrate both structured and free play with movement props and instruments. Students must be two years old by September 1, 2025.

3-5 YO Pre-K Movement and Music

Thursdays, September 11- October 23

10:00-10:40 am. Teewinot Room

Children learn the full BrainDance© warmup and explore a different movement concept every two weeks. Musical instruments and movement props will support our explorations. Children must be three years old by September 1, 2025.

Kindergarten Movement and Music

Kindergarteners will learn the full BrainDance© warmup and explore a different movement concept every two weeks. Emphasis is placed on creativity, where dancers begin to think critically to explore their own creative solutions to movement prompts. Musical instruments and movement props will support our explorations. Children must be five years old by August 1, 2025.

*We are gathering interest for this class. We will offer the class either Wednesdays or Thursdays from 3:20 - 4:00 pm for seven weeks beginning the week of September 8 if we gather enough students. If you are interested in the class for your kindergartener, please send me an email at forsskaren@gmail.com and state your interest and day preference.
