Karen Forss Hogan reaches over 130 children each week through Galliope dance classes in Jackson Hole. As a proud member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO), Karen is committed to staying current with best practices and providing a high-quality educational experience that fosters confidence, creativity, and agency in our youngest learners.

Galliope’s efforts extend beyond the classroom. Karen has presented work at local and national early childhood and dance conferences, and leads teacher-training programs for educators in Wyoming and Idaho. In 2022 Karen traveled twice to Warsaw, Poland, where she had the privilege of bringing dance and filmmaking to Ukrainian refugee children and adults at Modalinska Humanitarian Aid Center.

Karen holds a Master of Science in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Her diverse experiences inform her integrated approach to teaching.
