Join Galliope Creative Movement for two hours of movement and learning as we explore super simple folk dances from around the world. Students will leave with a knowledge of best practices for presenting movement in the early childhood classroom, and five to ten folk dances with modifications for early and more advanced learners.  Use these dances when your students need a movement break, or learn how they can be incorporated into other lessons on culture and diversity.

Handouts of dances covered will be available.

Class participation earns Two Wyoming or Idaho STARS credits

Please wear clothing comfortable for movement.
